Ellie Jane Goulding, born on December 30, 1986, in Hereford England. Tracey Goulding Summers was her mother and Arthur Goulding belonged to a family of undertakers. Goulding is the youngest of three siblings. A sister Isabel who is older and a brother Alex and a second sister Jordan. Alex Goulding's older brother is a bass player. Goulding is also an Hereford musician. As a girl, her mother urged her to pursue a career in musical instruments. Her first instrument was the clarinet as she was nine years old.
